Explore the Children's Ministry of Grace Fellowship
The Children's Ministry of Grace Fellowship is called GraceKids. We offer dynamic classes, with age-appropriate teachings on Sunday mornings during all three services. We also have a MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) and MOPS Next (Mothers of Children in School) ministry that meets every other Thursday throughout the school year. Not to mention Family Events, Parent Partnership Opportunities, Baby Dedication, and much more. GraceKids wants to help your child connect to God, His church and His world.
On Sunday mornings in GraceKids, we have age-appropriate ministries for children so that they can learn about Jesus in a way that makes sense to them. During your children’s time in GraceKids, they will participate in a time of worship, they will connect with peers in relational small groups, and they will learn from incredible leaders.
Here's what to expect when visiting GraceKids on a Sunday for the first time:
First, visit our GraceKids check-in area just inside the main entrance. Our GraceKids check-in team will meet your family, check your child into our security system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
Before Service: You can check-in your child at the GraceKids check-in area. Our check-in team will find your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold on to the matching tag.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the side screens in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and head to the GraceKids check-in area. Our security team will check your GraceKid check-in tag and then direct you to your child’s room.
What happens in GraceKids is important, but what happens at home is essential. We want to come alongside you, the parents, to help create a strong influence in your child’s life. It is our prayer to partner with you so that your children can create a solid foundation to stand on, as they get older as well as to equip you to be a spiritual leader for your child.
We want to keep you informed on what's happening in our ministry with the following:
For our smallest treasures there is a cry room located next to the fireplace in the foyer that parents are free to use. This room houses several toys (in the baskets) the children can play with, a diaper changing station, and a comfy spot for mothers to nurse. (There is a Welcome sign on the door that can be turned around to read “Nursing” so you can nurse privately if you wish). For your convenience there is a speaker system and video feed so you can watch the service as well. This room allows you to tend to your baby’s needs without missing any of the service.
As soon as a child turns 6 months old, they are welcome to come into our GraceKids environment to be cared for. We have an incredible space catered to the needs and desires of an infant. In the 6 months-1 year old environment, your child will be well taken care of and they will also be shown the love of Jesus while you are able to participate in the adult worship service.
When a child is of preschool age, we invite them to come to our preschool ministry here at Grace. This ministry is catered to the specific needs and interests of a preschool child. This environment is a place where a child can come and learn about Jesus in a way that is most relevant to them. Here they sing high energy worship songs, they participate in fun activities, and they hear an awesome bible story
During a preschooler’s time here, we want them to learn 3 Basic Truths:
Preschoolers may be small, but if they don’t learn to grow and do the things God created them to do, the whole church suffers. That is why we believe it is so important to teach them about God’s love and their place in His kingdom at this early age.
Kids K-5 learn to trust God, make wise choices, and build lasting friendships. We believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we believe there are 3 Basic Truths every child should embrace according to what Jesus modeled in Luke 5:52 “…and Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man.”
During a elementary child’s time here, we want them to learn 3 Basic Truths:
